Yanfly put the nail in the coffin for me, but I can't blame him for doing what he thinks is fair for the work he has done, at the same time. I realized the app is SO dependent on plugins to make even a decent game, that the next RPG Maker they drop, I will barely even consider it, unless it is fundamentally better and not dependent on paying more and more and more to third party developers to make something even decent. This plugin is compatible with the following plugins: YEP. If you update RPG Maker MV past that and this plugin breaks, I am NOT responsible for it. WARNING This plugin is made for RPG Maker MV versions 1.6.1 and below. Personally, I stopped using RPG Maker because of it. This is to ensure the features of this plugin will be used and that other plugins do not override this one. I personally feel both frustration and understanding, he did put a lot of work into it, of course he deserves to make something off of that, I just hate how things took a random turn into /forcing/ people to pay. I'm not gonna say anyone's wrong or right for how they feel, I'm just gonna say there is definitely frustration, and understanding, and a big mix of feelings. The diversity in the opinion of this is large. I think the thing that really frustrates people, including myself, is the fact that someone was offering this as a hobby, not asking anything for it, and then did a 180 out of nowhere and started charging us for it. I love supporting developers, hell, I subscribe to things even when there's no great reward for it, I just like to help keep someone in business. It upset me, honestly, as it was previously free- and THEN he changed his mind.
